About the journal

The Scientific Journal of the Polish Economic Society is a scientific periodical (biannual), published by the Zielona Góra branch of the Polish Economic Society (PTE) since 2014.

  1. The Journal has an ISSN number 2391-7830 (e-ISSN 2545-3661).
  2. From 2018, the electronic version of the Journal is the primary (referential) version.
  3. Open Access: the Journal is accessible in accordance with the Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0).
  4. The scientific profile of the Journal is interdisciplinary and relates to issues in the field of social sciences. The published articles are rooted in such disciplines as: economics and finance, management and quality, socio-economic geography, spatial management, sociological sciences, and the science of politics and administration.
  5. The guarantee of the diversity of the topics covered is, among others, diversity of affiliation of authors of published texts. They represent most recognized domestic universities and economic departments, as well as many research centers from abroad. According to a similar key, the reviewers are selected, including eminent scientists from Poland and from abroad.
  6. Scientific articles published in the Journal are mainly devoted to current socio-economic problems. They are both theoretical and utilitarian. They present scientific achievements, experiences, thoughts and inspirations, as well as the practice of operation of enterprises, business environment institutions and local governments. The Journal is to contribute to a greater integration of the economists' community, and to be a source of inspiration for both theoreticians and representatives of economic practice.
  7. The articles published in the Scientific Journals of PTE in Zielona Góra emphasize is on:
    • expressing own opinions, conclusions and suggestions by the authors,
    • original descriptions of phenomena,
    • clear definition of goals and clear presentation of results
  8. The Journal also publishes reviews and polemics, conference materials, announcements and reports on important events in the life of the economic environment.
  9. The Journal is indexed in the following databases: Index Copernicus, CEJSH, CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library), Google Scholar, BazEkon, Arianta.
