The Scientific Journal of the Polish Economic Society is a scientific periodical (biannual), published by the Zielona Góra branch of the Polish Economic Society (PTE) since 2014.
- The Journal has an ISSN number 2391-7830 (e-ISSN 2545-3661).
- From 2018, the electronic version of the Journal is the primary (referential) version.

- The Journal is included in the List of Scientific Journals of the Polish Ministry of Science.
- The scientific profile of the Journal is interdisciplinary and relates to issues in the field of social sciences. The published articles are rooted in such disciplines as: economics and finance, management and quality, socio-economic geography, spatial management, sociological sciences, and the science of politics and administration.
- The guarantee of the diversity of the topics covered is, among others, diversity of affiliation of authors of published texts. They represent most recognized domestic universities and economic departments, as well as many research centers from abroad. According to a similar key, the reviewers are selected, including eminent scientists from Poland and from abroad.

They present scientific achievements, experiences, thoughts and inspirations, as well as the practice of operation of enterprises, business environment institutions and local governments. The Journal is to contribute to a greater integration of the economists' community, and to be a source of inspiration for both theoreticians and representatives of economic practice.
